Indira Elias is an artist and poet, composer and producer born in Australia. She has released two albums, one solo and one collaborative, and one EP. She has performed live internationally, notably at Paris’ Cafe de la Danse supporting Joep Beving, toured the UK with Swedish artist Alice Boman, and performed across Australia’s east coast, including at Sydney’s Phoenix Central Park. She has participated in a number of residencies; in 2021 she was a Powerhouse Generation Fellow with Astral People and Create NSW, in 2025 was a Pathwaves participant with Jane Arnison, and in 2026, a resident at Shark Island with APRA. Indira has scored short films, composed for theatre and collaborated internationally, including with Portuguese artist Himalion. She has curated and facilitated many live performances, including micro-festival Bitter Sweet Melodies, under her label Loba Records.
